Four guys with different backgrounds and interests found each other through a shared concern about the staggering economic system and its consequences for future generations. I was one of them. Our common ground is a great passion for both film and society, a combination that we wanted to use to initiate the broad social dialogue about how we can really move forward as a society. We have searched for a unique film format in which aesthetics, feeling and the possibility of interpretation are just as valuable as the social statement we want to make. Because we believe that we not only have to fight an information battle towards a society that works for everything and everyone, but also a battle of meaning. We believe that with the right stories as citizens we are able to become architects of the future that lies ahead of us, instead of victims. This activist film uses various metaphors with which we wanted to portray our unsustainable society, but especially what the road to a sustainable society looks like.
